Morgan's attention is divided between the beautiful countryside and
the charms of his lovely tour guide. |

As they ride
past "Morningstone," the local shrine site, Laura offers to show Morgan around. She takes Morgan on
a tour of the sacred ground within the stone circle, explaining that according
to legend, one of three fates is sure to befall the mortal brave enough,
or foolish enough, to visit the shrine by night. The hoped for communion
with the Ninefold Muse is rare. More common fates are madness or
death. |

As much as Morgan would have liked to take Laura in his arms, he
lets the moment pass and they return to the pony cart to continue on their
way to Morningstone Cottage. |
