Morgan sings the first verse on stage, but during the chorus, we see Morgan hurried away from the ruined abbey behind a phalanx of Security Guards and the "retreat from reality" montage begins. |

Morgan's success has sadly isolated him from all but a handful of handlers, the musicians in his band and the fabulous Trashbabies whose continuing show now "covers" his retreat. Morgan's escape route takes him out the far side of the ruined abbey, "far from the madding crowd." |

A limousine waits, just
beyond the gate below. The Stranger, Part One continues in
the soundtrack, and as Morgan settles into the security and silence of
the womblike limousine, the second verse begins.
"Poor child, close and rest your eyes . . ." Rain begins to fall as the limo pulls away from the ruined abbey. |
